JAKARTA - The Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of the Sukabumi Regency Gerindra Party, has not been able to confirm that Ananda Omesh is included in the stock exchange for a candidate for regent in the 2024 Sukabumi Regional Head Election (Pilkada). Omesh is known to be the son of the Sukabumi area.

According to Yudha, the name Omesh is indeed quite well known by the residents of Sukabumi Regency, but to become a regional head, be it the regent or deputy regent still needs to be tested first, because the electability of each prospective candidate is not only seen from the side of his fame, but must also be seen from the vision and mission to build Sukabumi Regency for the next five years.

In essence, his party has not been able to talk much about the prospective candidate who will be promoted by Prabowo Subianto's party, because in time Gerindra will conduct a screening, because many residents certainly want to do something for Sukabumi Regency.

"God willing, we will choose the best of the best and have a chance to win. Of course, those who love Sukabumi Regency and have a desire to build and advance this area," he added.

Yudha said the challenge in the 2024 Pilkada was quite large so that his party did not want to carelessly provide recommendations to nominate candidates for regent or deputy regent of Sukabumi.

For this reason, caution is needed, don't make the wrong choice because the target set is not only winning, but the candidate promoted by the Gerindra Party must really be able to work.

On the other hand, until now his party is still focused on communicating with several parties such as the Golkar Party and the United Development Party (PPP). It is possible that these three parties will form a coalition.

Therefore, his party continues to strengthen and carry out a really precise calculation to win the regional elections and make good strategies and also certainly have value to win the hearts of the people.
