JABAR - The Cianjur Regency Government (Pemkab) built an age kitchen to provide services to 191 residents who fled due to land disasters engaged in Jatisari Village, Bojongpicung District.

Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman said that one day earlier the district government had distributed logistical assistance to 61 families (KK) who had fled because the land was moving which continued to spread, threatening the safety of residents who were still surviving.

"Today I have ordered the Cianjur Social Service (Dinsos) to establish a public kitchen to provide services for displaced residents, Monday (April 29) evening, public kitchens have been established at two evacuation points," he said in Cianjur, Java Braat (West Java), Monday, April 29, confiscated by Antara.

The public kitchen, which was built in two different locations, served the residents' food needs during the evacuation, where every day officers cook three times and residents can take rations to public kitchens.

His party has asked the Health Office to build a health post at the disaster site because until now the ground is moving still happening, especially since the last three days there has been a roar from the location.

"We will provide various services to ease the burden on displaced residents, including health posts to be built in refugee camps. Most of the residents have fled at three points in Jatisari Village," he said.

His party noted that as a result of the land moving on Friday, April 26, 77 families fled. However, 16 families returned to their homes because they were deemed not to have been passed by moving land.

However, they are advised to remain vigilant and evacuate immediately when it rains again for more than two hours because there is the potential for moving ground.

"Dozen families choose to return home because of the long evacuation distance, plus the location of their houses is not traversed by the movement of the land, so they are still considered safe but they are asked to remain vigilant," he said.
