Involved In A Quarrel With Other Agents, US Vice Presidential Secret Service Kamala Harris Was Issued

JAKARTA - A Secret Service agent guarding United States Vice President Kamala Harris was removed from duty after being involved in an argument with other agents on Monday, law enforcement officials said.

"At around 09.00 a.m. on April 22, a special US Secret Service agency supporting the Vice President's journey from Joint Base Andrews began to show behavior deemed troublesome by their colleagues," Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said in a statement. April 26th.

"The agency was removed from its duties while medical personnel were summoned," he continued.

Furthermore, the statement did not respond to media reports that the agent was fighting with another agent and had to be handcuffed before being taken for medical examination.

Secret Service said Vice President Harris was not affected by the incident that occurred at Joint Base Andrews while he was at the Naval Observatory.

Vice President Harris left Joint Base Andrews on Monday night for Wisconsin without incident.

"The vice president was at the Naval Observatory when this incident occurred and had no impact on his departure from Joint Base Andrews," Guglielmi said.

"The US Secret Service is very concerned about the safety and health of our employees. Since this is a medical matter, we will not reveal further details," he said.
