After Giving Birth, Middle-aged Woman Throws Baby Into Kali KBB Tanah Abang

JAKARTA - The body of an innocent baby was found by residents wrapped in plastic in the West Flood Canal (KBB) area, Kebon Melati Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta.

Shortly after an investigation, the police then managed to arrest the perpetrator who dumped the baby with the initials DS (31).

Tanah Abang Police Chief AKBP Aditya Sembiring said the discovery of the baby's body by residents occurred on Tuesday, April 23. Then the police conducted a crime scene investigation and evacuated the baby's body to the RSCM.

After receiving the post-mortem results from the RSCM, two days later his party managed to secure DS, who is the mother of the baby.

"We suspect the RSCM post-mortem results, we managed to find the identity of his mother. The team from the police managed to secure his mother at the guesthouse, Palred District," said AKBP Aditya when confirmed, Friday, April 26.

However, he said, currently DS is being investigated further at the Tanah Abang Metro Police to find out what the motive was to throw the innocent baby away.
