Police Call The Loss Galih Unable To Endorse From Content With Blasphemy Elements

JAKARTA - TikToker Galih Loss or Galih Noval Aji Prakoso is said to have made video content, including blasphemy elements, just to get endorsements. It's just that, until he was named a suspect, he had not received it.

"Regarding perhaps how many endorsements have been obtained, but so far there has been no," said Deputy Director of Special Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, AKBP Hendri Umar to reporters, Friday, April 26.

Currently, the TikTok account belonging to Galih has also been confiscated as evidence. Confiscation is carried out as one of the requirements in handling cases.

"For the TikTok account used by Galih, which is the media, we have secured content related to the Dumas complaint in Quo status, so it cannot be used by outsiders or other parties," he said.

"So, we will deepen the account and we will use it as evidence and delegation it to the prosecutor's office," he continued.

In this case, Galih was charged with Article 28 paragraph 2 of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE and Article 156 a of the Criminal Code. Thus, it is threatened with imprisonment for 6 years.

Galih Loss has apologized for the content of the video containing elements of blasphemy that caused a commotion.

"Introducing my name Galih Noval Aji Prakoso. I am here to apologize to all Muslims for the events that I have made and caused a commotion on social media. Once again I apologize profusely," said Galih.

Galih also stated that there was no intention when he made a video that was considered blasphemy.

"I regret all these incidents and I promise not to repeat them and I will make a more positive video going forward," said Galih.
