Gerindra Affirms Prabowo And Surya Paloh Meetings Don't Discuss Ministerial Seats

JAKARTA - The meeting between the elected president Prabowo Subianto and the General Chair of the Nasdem Party Surya Paloh on Jalan Kertanegara number 4, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, is said to have not discussed the seat of minister for the Prabowo-Gibran government.

The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said the meeting was a gathering after Prabowo was appointed elected president and the affirmation of the Nasdem Party to support the Prabowo-Gibran government.

"Oh, earlier (P Prabowo-Paloh meeting) there was no talking about distributing seats," said Dasco after the meeting between Prabowo and Surya Paloh on Jalan Kartanegara No 4, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Thursday, April 25.

Dasco said political parties supporting Prabowo-Gibran, the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) fully handed over to Prabowo to arrange a cabinet. Moreover, the determination of the cabinet minister is the prerogative of the president.

"Because the friends in the coalition party gave it entirely to Pak Prabowo to arrange a cabinet," said Dasco.

It is known that the elected president Prabowo Subianto received a visit from the General Chairperson of the Nasdem Party, Surya Paloh, at his residence, Jalan Kertanegara, Jakarta, Thursday afternoon. During the meeting, Paloh agreed to support the new government of Prabowo-Gibran.

"So we all conclude that with the spirit, enthusiasm, sincerity of the heart, big soul, Nasdem today stated and reiterated, supporting a new government under the leadership of Prabowo-Gibran," said Paloh.

On that occasion, Prabowo expressed his gratitude for Surya Paloh's visit. According to him, the meeting was effective and productive in the interests of the Indonesian people.

"The greatest amount of strength that can join the people in the midst of the dynamics of the world is highly anticipated. Thank you, Mr. Surya, thank you Nasdem, we are very happy with you and us," said Prabowo.

Prabowo also remembers Surya Paloh as his friend and one of the leaders of the first political party to congratulate him when he excelled in calculating the votes of the KPU.

"I really appreciate it because Pak Surya is among the first to congratulate the people on receiving the mandate from the people to candidate pair 2," concluded Prabowo.
