Embarrassous Response Titiek Suharto After KPU Appoints Prabowo As Elected President

JAKARTA - Titiek Suharto thanked Prabowo Subianto for being elected president by the KPU today. However, Titiek was reluctant to answer when asked if he was ready to accompany the elected presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto as the first lady. He was only embarrassed to hear the question. "We thank God Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, finally Mr. Prabowo can be elected," Titiek told reporters, smiling embarrassedly at the KPU Office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24. Titiek then thanked all Indonesian people. Especially to 96 million people who chose Prabowo-Gibran. "The voters are also around 96 million Indonesians, yes. Thank you to all Indonesian people, especially those who chose Pak Prabowo and Mas Gibran entrusted him both to lead this country," said Titiek. Titiek also asked for prayers so that Prabowo and Gibran would always be healthy in order to carry out their duties as president and vice president of the Republic of Indonesia smoothly.

"We pray that everyone, hopefully, he can lift this nation from poverty, ignorance, and Indonesia to become a developed country, which is respected by neighboring countries," he said.
