LABUAN BAJO - Head of the Maumere Basarnas Office, Supriyanto Ridwan, said there were no reports of any suspected airplanes crashing in the sea waters of Nagekeo Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). "Just now, the coordination team with AirNav Maumere-Labuuan Bajo-Ruteng, none of the aircraft were monitored to crash in the Flores area," he said when contacted from Labuan Bajo, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 22. He explained further, confirmation regarding the alleged crash of the plane was also carried out by the team to AirNav Bajawa Ngada Regency. "Confirmation to AirNav Bajawa for information that time there were no flights passing around the place," he also explained, tracing and confirmation were also carried out at Benga, Nagekeo Regency, which was informed as the location of the incident, and the local community had checked but there were no signs of a plane crashing in the marine waters.

Head of the Komodo Labuan Bajo Airport Organizing Unit (UPBU) Ceppy Triono separately said flights from Labuan Bajo were running normally.

"Today there is no information on the flight route from Labuan Bajo," he said. He also explained that a number of aircraft flights had arrived in several destinations.
