Democrats Say AHY Is Ready To Be Assigned By Prabowo Wherever, Including The Coordinating Minister

JAKARTA - Head of the Democratic Party Strategic Communications Agency, Herzaky Mahendra Putra, said that General Chairperson (Ketum) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono or AHY is ready to be assigned anywhere by the elected President, Prabowo Subianto in the new government cabinet. Either as coordinating minister (Menko) or technical minister. "Yes, maybe at the Coordinating Minister, maybe in technical, it depends on Mr. Prabowo because Mr. AHY has never chosen tasks. He is ready wherever he is," Herzaky told reporters, Friday, April 19. Herzaky ensured that AHY would be the first person to send a party to be involved in the Prabowo-Gibran government. Moreover, he said, Prabowo had asked directly the best cadres from the Democratic Party. "Now who is the best Democrat number one? Yes, Mr. AHY. At a time of political turbulence we make sure, again this gas, suddenly changes, turns suddenly, it's not easy, but Mr. AHY can lead well. And thank God it finally became part of the government, the winner of the presidential election, the Democrats returned to the government," he said. Nevertheless, Herzaky said, the Democratic Party would completely hand over to Prabowo as president later regarding the assignment to AHY. According to him, AHY can work quickly in the remaining term of office as Minister of ATR/BPN.

"We trust Pak Prabowo. Seeing his capacity, capability, today he has become Minister of ATR/Head of BPN. We will see how he performs, he works as much as possible, learns quickly, and thank God so far there have been breakthroughs that have been made," said Herzaky.
