"So they were caught because there was a search activity for the Saber Extortion Team. Outside of that time, there was still a lot of extortion in the Karawang area in various places," he explained. The modes of the extortionists who were arrested were generally related to the withdrawal of parking fees, namely illegal parking which was not equipped with a parking ticket. "They set parking rates arbitrarily," he said.

The perpetrators of extortion who act with the mode of collecting parking fees usually charge parking between Rp. 5-10 thousand per vehicle, both motorbike and car.
