Crazy Woman In Brazil Brings Her Uncle's Body To The Bank To Borrow 3,000 US Dollars

JAKARTA - Police in Brazil detained a woman who brought a corpse to the bank to apply for a loan of US$ 3 thousand or equivalent to Rp48.5 million. The body that was brought was called the woman was his uncle.

One of the bank officials said, 'I think he's not feeling well,' and the second officer agreed.

Rio de Janeiro Civil Police Chief Fabio Luis Souza said bank officials later decided to call the ambulance. When the paramedics arrived, they concluded the man had died a few hours and would have died when he arrived at the bank.

CNN affiliate CNN, CNN Brazil, reported that the family's lawyer denied the statement given by the police, saying the facts did not happen as stated; the man had arrived at the bank alive; and the woman was completely shaken and given treatment."

Authorities said they were investigating the case, but had not yet filed a lawsuit.
