The Man In Makassar Who Buryed His Wife In A Contract For 6 Years Was Charged With Premeditated Murder

Makassar Police, South Sulawesi imposed multiple articles with the threat of the death penalty for H (43), the perpetrator of the murder of his wife with the initials J and the heart to bury his body in the house for six years on Jalan Kandea.

"From the results of the examination, we apply Article 340 of the Criminal Code, for the primary, then subsidiary 338 of the Criminal Code. Why was it implemented, because there were allegations of premeditated murder made by the perpetrators," said Makassar Police Chief Kombes Mokh Ngajib as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 17.

From the results of the investigation, said the Police Chief, there were already nine witnesses and one suspect. The results of the witness examination were confronted with the suspect. Investigators also opened their digital forensics and found the incident in August 2017 based on confronters and digital forensics.

"The examination of witnesses and perpetrators was found to be the fact that the motive for this murder was a jealousy factor from the perpetrator. At that time the victim or his wife was suspected of communicating, having sex and together with his old girlfriend," said Kombes Ngajib.

Furthermore, when the perpetrator and the victim met, interrogated whether it was true or not, at that time the perpetrator became emotional and finally there was persecution. The persecution was carried out three times, and on the third day it turned out that the victim had died.

"This victim was taken to the back of the house. Then behind the house there was (empty land) more than one meter there was room. There it was buried with sand and soil, after the incident they left the house," he explained.

After the incident, the perpetrator and his two children left the house and settled at his parents' house. After six months of the incident, the house was rented and there was a person who rented the house for approximately five years.

But recently, because his son often gets violence from the perpetrator and continues to be silenced so as not to tell other people about the incident, he finally reports the incident to the police with his brother.

"From the abuse of the victim's child, it was later developed that it was discovered that his parents or mother had not disappeared or did not go with his old girlfriend, but it turned out that they were violent and there was murder and buried behind the house," said Ngajib.
