Not Riza Patria, Gerindra Will Submit A New Name In The DKI Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The Gerindra Party gave a signal not to carry the chairman of the DKI Jakarta Gerindra DPD, Ahmad Riza Patria in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada. The name of the former deputy governor of DKI is no longer a champion because Gerindra will propose a new name to become a candidate for governor of the upcoming DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election. This was conveyed by the Daily Chairperson of Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad in response to the question of the opportunity for Ahmad Riza Patria to run for the 2024 DKI gubernatorial election. "Our DKI governor's office is in a hurry. Hopefully we will propose new internal cadres, still fresh and of course have the opportunity to win," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 17. In addition to the DKI gubernatorial election, Dasco also commented on President Jokowi's son-in-law, Bobby Nasution, who will run in the North Sumatra Pilgub. Dasco said that in general, the results of the Gerindra Party's national coordination meeting mandated internal cadres to become candidates for governor, candidates for regent and candidate mayor. Therefore, his party is preparing data on internal cadres and then to submit to which DPP wants to advance, both in the gubernatorial election, regent, and mayor.

"Therefore, for other candidates who are outside the internal, of course we will also see what their names are, then the situation and conditions in their respective regions for internal cadres in the Gerindra party," said Dasco.
