Mounting Garbage, Residents Of Jalan Aria Putra Ciputat Pasrah, Don't Hope Many With The South Tangerang City Government

TANGERANG - Piles of mounting garbage on Jalan Aria Putra, Ciputat, South Tangerang. Residents suspect this buildup occurred because the cleaning staff was still on leave after Eid 2024.

Madi, one of the local residents, said that the pile of garbage had been lodged since Saturday, April 13.

"It's been 4 days. It's possible that the cleaning staff is on leave. So it's not yet active in this Eid al-Fitr," said Madi when met at the location, Tuesday, April 16.

Madi also admitted that in that place it was indeed a waste disposal site from various surrounding areas. However, usually the cleaning staff transports the area every morning to clean up the area.

"Usually in the morning there are two cars. This can be garbage from Ciputat, Serua, Kedaung. They throw it here, because there is no place," he said.

He said that the impact of this pile resulted in traffic jams and unpleasant odors.

Nevertheless, Madi hopes that there will be no more mounting garbage near where he lives. But he realized there were no other garbage disposal sites.

"I don't want to be here anymore, but it's hard to find a place. It's difficult. So far, I haven't found one," he said.

The same thing is said by Riki, always road users. For him, this pile really disturbs the road and the smell is very strong.

"I want it to be transported immediately, not on the side of the road. What's more, it smells really bad," he concluded.
