JAKARTA - The Wonosobo Resort Police (Polres), Central Java, shows its commitment to maintaining security and maintaining local traditions by carrying out strict security at the Balloon Culture Festival held at the Kembaran Square, Kalikajar, Wonosobo Regency.

Wonosobo Police Chief AKBP Donny Lumbantoruan in Wonosobo, Thursday, said that in an effort to maintain security, the Wonosobo Police had alerted dozens of personnel to oversee the festival area and regulate traffic flow.

The enthusiasm of the people who are so high in the tradition of hot air balloons has caused many visitors from the Wonosobo area and from outside the Wonosobo area.

The Balloon Culture Festival will take place on April 11-14, 2024.

The festival, which is a celebration of air balloon art, attracts thousands of visitors every year, and the Wonosobo Police ensures that the event runs smoothly and safely for all participants and visitors.

Donny emphasized the importance of maintaining local traditions such as the Balloon Culture Festival while still ensuring safety, especially balloons, must be moored so as not to fly freely which can interfere with flights.
