Anies Baswedan Invites To Keep The Unique Eid Celebration In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan invites the public, especially Muslims, to maintain the unique Eid al-Fitr celebration or Eid al-Fitr celebration in Indonesia, such as holding an opening house to tightly bind the friendship between residents.

"This is the uniqueness of Eid al-Fitr in Indonesia which we must protect together," Anies told reporters after holding an opening house at his residence as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 10.

From all countries with their citizens celebrating Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Fitr, according to him, only in Indonesia has made this holiday a momentum to closely bind the ties of friendship and the momentum of gathering families and friends to apologize to each other and bring together parties who have not seen each other for a long time.

"Eid al-Fitr is celebrated around the world, but not in all places to celebrate it as an event to closely bind the ties of friendship, to forgive each other, and to bring together those who have not met for a long time," said the presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

Next, Anies representing his extended family wishes the people of Indonesia a happy Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah to celebrate it.

He prayed that every reward of worship that had been carried out by Muslims in the holy month of Ramadan could be doubled by Allah SWT.

"Hopefully our worship in the holy month of Ramadan will be doubled and lead us all to the muttaqin degree (the most special equality and at the highest level for a servant of Allah)," he said.

Anies also apologized to all parties if he ever made a mistake in saying or acting.Open house held by Anies Baswedan took place from 15.00 WIB to 17.32 WIB.

Based on observations at the location of Anies Baswedan's residence, residents seemed enthusiastic to shake hands with the former Governor of DKI Jakarta. Residents cheered to call Anies while lining up to enter the pavilion area of the house.

Several parties were also present, including Deputy National Team (Timnas) Captain Anies-Muhaimin (AMIN) Thomas Lembong and senior artist Adrian Maulana.
