Hasto Bantah Rosan Roeslani Becomes Prabowo's Message Bringer When Meeting Megawati: Pure Gathering

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto denied the Chairman of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Rosan Roeslani as the carrier of the message from the presidential candidate number two who is also the General Chair of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto.

The presence of the former Deputy Minister of SOEs at the residence of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri, called Hasto, is purely in contact.

This was conveyed by Hasto in response to the presence of Rosan Roeslani who visited Megawati's house on Jalan Teuku Umar, Menteng, Central Jakarta during Eid Al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1445 Hijriah, Wednesday, April 10.

"There is no (special message from Prabowo, ed). So this is purely a gathering in the context of Eid al-Fitr, sorry for each other, and nothing is related to the politics of power," Hasto told reporters at the location.

Hasto said the meeting was also attended by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani who is Megawati Soekarnoputri's son; MenPANRB Azwar Anas; and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arifin Tasrif. In the 1.5-hour conversation, Rosan praised Megawati.

He said, the 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia is a person who has a lot of experience and is full of fighting spirit. Rosan praised after hearing Megawati's story, including about her experience in Papua to Maluku.

In addition, Hasto also said that Rosan had received advice from Megawati. "Yes, the messages of the spirit of struggle were (given, ed) to Mas Rosan who came from the experience of mothers," he said.

"So Mas Rosan said, 'Oh my mother's experience turned out to be extraordinary, full of fighting spirit'," continued the former member of the DPR.

As previously reported, Rosan Roeslani returned to Megawati's residence during the moment of Eid Al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1445 Hijriah. From observations at the location, Rosan had previously arrived at around 10.40 WIB and was only five minutes at Megawati's house.

However, the former Deputy Minister of SOEs returned at around 15.05 WIB and returned home at around 16.38 WIB. Rosan, who was riding in a black sedan, did not convey anything.

Not long after, he left Megawati's house, MenPANRB Azwar Anas. Just like Rosan, there was no statement made by the former Banyuwangi Regent.
