Until D-1 Lebaran, KAI Daop 1 Departs 416,499 Homecomers From Jakarta

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta noted the departure of Eid travelers from 2024 to April 9 or D-1 Lebaran as many as 416,499 passengers departing for Jakarta to various destination cities in East Java, Central Java and West Java.

Public Relations Manager of Daop 1 Jakarta, Ixfan Hendriwintoko said, pre-Eid Transport (Angleb) 2024, from March 31 to April 9, 2024, there were 438,598 seats available with a presentation of 95 percent.

"As of today, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, more than 416 thousand passengers have departed from the daop 1 area to various destinations in East Java, Central Java, DIY, and West Java with 77 long-distance train trips (KAJJ) per day," said Ixfan in his statement, Tuesday, April 9.

Furthermore, Ixfan said that the achievement occupancy in the Eid 2024 transportation period reached 70 percent of the seating capacity provided.

Meanwhile, the peak of homecoming occurred on Friday, April 6 with a total of 47,822 passengers. As for today, 44,747 passengers departed using KAJJ transportation with 75 KAJJ trips.

With details of passengers riding from Gambir Station as many as 19,324 passengers are served 41 KAJJ trips. From Pasarsenen Station as many as 24,681 passengers with 34 KAJJ trips. the rest are trips from several stations in the Daop 1 Jakarta area.

"These numbers are still likely to change considering that online sales and go shows are still ongoing until the scheduled departure," said Ixfan.

During the 2024 Eid Transport period, from March 31 to April 21, 20124, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta has provided 1,688 KAJJ trips with an average of 77 KAJJ trips per day, with details of 40 KAJJ trips departing from Gambir Station and 37 KAJJ trips departing from Pasar Senen Station.

"Until now, Tuesday 9 April, as many as 675,402 tickets have been sold out of a total ticket provided as many as 963,948 seats, for KAJJ departures from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen. From Gambir Station, 234,064 tickets were sold with 40 train trips per day, while train departures from Pasar Senen Station were sold as many as 431,963 tickets with 37 train trips per day," said Ixfan.

For post-width transportation, said Ixfan, during the Eid 2024 transportation period from April 12 to April 21, 2024, there were 264,935 seats.

"After Eid, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta provides seats of 439,466 seats, and 174,531 seats are sold with a percentage of 40 percent, meaning that there are still many post-width transportation seats available," added Ixfan.

Meanwhile, for prospective passengers who already have tickets, said Ixfan, he appealed to them to come to the station before departure time. The appeal is considered important, in order to anticipate a change in the train departure schedule.

"In addition, passengers who already have a train ticket for Eid to arrive earlier than departure time so they don't miss the train," concluded Ixfan.
