Anticipating The Increase In Visitors To Eid Holidays, Ragunan Prepares Parking Pockets To Portable Tolliets

JAKARTA - Ragunan Wildlife Park Manager prepares infrastructure to welcome tourists on the Eid al-Fitr 2024 holiday, one of which is preparing parking bags to accommodate vehicles.

"We have also prepared parking areas to welcome visitors," said Ragunan Wildlife Park Service and Public Relations Staff (Humas) Wahyudi Bambang as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, April 8.

Bambang said that the facilities and infrastructure at the Ragunan Wildlife Park have also been arranged so that when they enter the Lebaran 2024 holiday, all visitors are comfortable at the zoo in South Jakarta.

According to him, apart from parking spaces, his party has also prepared portable toilets to be placed at several points in the area.

"We have prepared supporting infrastructure facilities such as portable toilets, entrance ticket purchase counters, and so on," he said.

Bambang added that not only that Ragunan Wildlife Park has also decorated the area with the theme of the Lebaran atmosphere such as ketupat, as well as other ornaments with Eid nuances.

During this Eid holiday, said Bambang, there were no animal performances, but at that moment one of the zoo residents celebrated his birthday.

"For Lebaran, it happens that there will be a gift to our gorilla which happens to be having a birthday," he said.

Previously, the Ragunan Wildlife Park manager alerted more than 1,000 officers during the Eid 2024 holiday period to ensure that visitors were comfortable when traveling to tourist attractions in South Jakarta.

The addition of these officers is in order to provide better service to visitors during the 2024 Eid holiday, because it is predicted that visitors can increase compared to the previous year.

In Lebaran 2023, the number of tourists visiting Ragunan Wildlife Park will reach 750 thousand people. Meanwhile, for this year, it is targeted to reach 800 thousand people.

His party added that seasonal officers who had been closely selected and used to help during the Eid al-Fitr holiday season.

"For the number, it is estimated that more than 1,000 people are on duty during the Eid al-Fitr 2024 holiday," he said.
