Vehicle Volume Increases, One Way At KM 72-414 Kalikangkung Toll Road Extended

The traffic engineering (traffic) one way was carried out at KM 72 of the Cipali Toll Road until KM 414 GT Kalikangkung was resumed until today, Monday, April 8, 2024 at 24.00 WIB.

"One way traffic engineering from KM 72 Cipali Toll Road to KM 414 GT Kalikangkung Batang-Semarang Toll Road which is scheduled to be completed on Sunday, April 7 at 24.00 WIB will continue on police discretion until Monday, April 8 at 24.00 WIB," said Jasa Marga Marketing & Communication Department Head Faiza Riani in his official statement, quoted Monday, April 8.

This was done because based on traffic volume data on vehicles that increased from Jakarta to Semarang, it was monitored from the visual camera closed circuit television (CCTV) as well as reports from police officers in the field. This increase in traffic volume is predicted to continue until the morning.

"Until this information was revealed at 23.30 WIB, the traffic engineering that was still being implemented was a two-lane contraflow at KM 47-KM 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road towards Cikampek," he said.

Then, the implementation of one way from KM 70 Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to KM 414 GT Kalikangkung Batang-Semarang Toll Road and one local way starting at KM 428 Jatingaleh Semarang Toll Road section A, B, C to KM 442 GT Bawen Semarang-Solo Toll Road," he said.

Faiza said that this traffic engineering was situational according to the police discretion. His party urges road users to always be careful on the road and obey the directions of officers in the field.
