Bandung City Police (Polresta) arrested Mulyadi (31), the alleged perpetrator of the murder of his 4-year-old stepdaughter by molesting him to death.

Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Kusworo Wibowo said the disclosure of this case was less than 1x24 hours.

"Initially the victim's mother reported on April 5 in the report that the incident was dated April 4, 2024," said Kusworo in Bandung Regency, Sunday, April 7, which was confiscated by Antara.

Kusworo explained, initially the perpetrator was upset to see the behavior of his stepson and immediately hit him in the heart until he fell. As a result of the beating, Kusworo said the victim experienced vomiting and could not eat.

The child vomited and couldn't eat. Then the mother asked him to rest. After finishing the break, asked to eat again, still couldn't eat and vomit anymore," he said.

Furthermore, he revealed that the perpetrator was again upset because the victim did not want to eat and hit the victim again in the forehead until he fell.

"The head of the back hit the wall and then repeated the beating repeatedly," he said.

Seeing the victim being beaten, he continued, the victim's mother immediately took him to Purwakarta to go home. However, on the way home, the victim died.

"The victim was autopsjed, the autopsy results of the victim's death because the intestines of 12 fingers were injured due to the suspect's blow resulting in not being able to enter the food," he said.

As a result of his actions, he said that the perpetrators were charged with multiple articles, namely article 80 of the child protection law with a penalty of 15 years in prison. The KDRT Law carries a penalty of 15 years in prison and Article 351 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code which carries a sentence of 7 years.
