Homecoming To Madura Explodes At Situbondo Anchor Port, Some Don't Get Tickets For 3 Days

SITUBONDO - Prospective ferry passengers who will go home to several islands in Sumenep Regency, Madura, on D-4 Eid Al-Fitr 1445 Hijri are booming in the waiting room for the Port of Janger, Situbondo, East Java.

A number of travelers to Raas, Sapudi, and Kalianget (Madura), complained about the uncertainty of ferry tickets. Even some travelers on the Janger-Raas route have been staying at the Janger Port for three days because they have not received a ferry ticket.

"I haven't had a boat ticket for three days and with my family are staying at the port," said Aini, one of the travelers to Raas Island, Sumenep Regency, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, April 6.

To this day, he and his family as well as other travelers to Raas have not yet received confirmation of when they can get a boat ticket.

The same thing was conveyed by Dewi Indah Sari. She admitted that she and her mother and sister, who are still toddlers, had been waiting since yesterday (5/4) to get tickets, but had not yet received confirmation, when could they go to their hometown.

"Buy tickets through the application, everything has been sold. Belioffline at the Anchor Port, has not served since the online ticket was implemented," he said

Dewi hopes that ticket sales will also provide offline at the port, so that passengers who do not get online tickets can get them at the port and do not wait long.

"It should be at the port selling offline tickets, so those who come to ports that don't have tickets can buy them here," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Port Engineering UPT Banyuwangi Regional Pengumpan Port, East Java Provincial Transportation Service (Dishub) at Situbondo Anchor Port, Tri Wahyono explained that since the online ticket purchase was implemented, the port did not serve offline ticket purchases.

"The purchase of tickets is done online. Therefore, it is recommended to prospective passengers who do not have tickets not to enter the port," he said.

To unravel the density of passengers at Janger Port, especially those who do not have boat tickets, he said, must add a trip crossing.

"The solution must be to add trip crossings, so that travelers can be transported by ferries," he said.

At Janger Port there are four scheduled departures for the ferry, namely KMP Dharma Ferry IX for Lembar (NTB) and three ferries for Raas, namely KMP Dharma Kartika, KMP Citra Mandala Sakti, and KMP Wicitra Dharma I.
