BMKG Predicts Moderate To Heavy Rain In Most Regions Of The Republic Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - Most parts of Indonesia will experience moderate to heavy rain accompanied by lightning on Saturday, April 6. The areas that will experience rain are Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, and Maluku.

Quoting Antara, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) also issued the same warning to Bali, Bangka Belitung, Banten, Bengkulu, Gorontalo, Jambi, East Java, South Kalimantan, North Maluku, Papua, West Papua, South Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, West Sumatra, and South Sumatra.

They also reminded the risk of heavy rain accompanied by lightning in Aceh, Lampung, North Sumatra. Meanwhile, Bengkulu is expected to experience light to heavy rain.

Steering rain is expected to fall in DKI Jakarta, West Java, West Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, it is estimated that Pangkal Pinang will have light rain throughout the day, and Manokwari will have light rain all day but sunny and cloudy at night.

Denpasar is also expected to have light rain in the morning and during the day, and be thick cloudy at night.

Most cities in Indonesia are expected to be cloudy in the morning, such as Gorontalo, Jambi, Semarang Surabaya, Pontianak, Banjarmasin, Palangkaraya, Samarinda, Tanjung Pinang, Bandar Lampung, Mataram, Kupang, Jayapura, Makassar, Kendari, and Manado.

Ambon is expected to be cloudy throughout the day, and thick cloudy in the afternoon. Meanwhile, Bengkulu and Kendari are expected to be cloudy from morning to early morning.

Especially for DKI Jakarta, in all cities, namely West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands, the weather is expected to be cloudy in the morning and cloudy at night.

Light rain is predicted to fall in West Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta during the day, while Central Jakarta and North Jakarta are cloudy.

In the early hours of the morning, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta are expected to be cloudy, while North Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to experience light rain.
