AKAP Bus Homecoming Is Predicted To Flood Pulogebang Integrated Terminal On D-3 Lebaran

JAKARTA - Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Cakung District, East Jakarta predicts that the peak of the 2024 Eid homecoming flow will occur on Sunday, April 7, next.

Homecomers will flood the integrated terminal to board AKAP buses with various destination cities.

Head of the Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Implementation Unit (Kasatpel), Hendra Kurniawan, said the estimate was concluded based on calculations from the previous year's Eid time.

"On April 5 to April 7, we predict that there will be the highest increase in homecoming flow," he explained at the Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Thursday, April 4.

According to Hendra's records, the number of passengers on Thursday, April 4 reached 1,000 people. However, the increase will continue to occur until it is predicted that the third day before Eid.

"Today there are 1,000 passengers departing from our terminal, tend to increase later in the afternoon until the evening," he said.

Meanwhile, the number of passengers on the previous day was only 1,500 people, but now it has jumped to 70 percent.

"The number of passengers has started to rise since last Wednesday. Every day it continues to increase, the point will continue to rise," he said.
