14,072 Officials Have Not Reported Their Wealth To The KPK

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that there are tens of thousands of officials who have not submitted a state administrator's wealth report (LHKPN). They should submit a report for the period 2023 no later than March 31, 2024.

"As of April 3, 2024, 14,072 state/reporting organizers have not reported their assets," said KPK Prevention Spokesperson Ipi Maryati to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, April 4.

Ipi detailed that 9,111 officials came from the central and regional executives. "The maximum 314,540 must report or 97.18 percent have reported it," he said.

Meanwhile, in the legislature, 4,046 of the 20,002 members have not reported their wealth. Then 175 of the 18,405 WL in the judiciary sector have not yet submitted their report or 99.05 percent have reported it," said Ipi.

Next, 740 are required to report from BUMN/BUMD and have not submitted their assets to the anti-corruption commission. Ipi hopes that they can report it immediately even though the deadline has passed.

Ipi said there is no real reason for officials not to report. "Currently, the filling of LHKPN itself has been made easier by the existence of e-LHKPN which can be accessed through the www.elhkpn.kpk.go.id page," he explained.

"KPK urges state administrators/report authorities who have not submitted LHKPN to continue fulfilling reporting obligations. We will still receive the LHKPN submitted after the deadline but the LHKPN will be recorded with the status of reporting "delayed reporting", concluded Ipi.
