Welcoming Homecomers, Magelang City Police Establish 8 Security Posts

JETENG - Magelang City Resort Police (Polres) established eight posts to deal with the 2024 Eid homecoming flow.

Magelang City Police Chief AKBP Herlina said the posts consisted of four security posts, three strong points and one TNI-Polri synergy post.

"Hopefully these posts that have been held will be able to provide excellent service and optimal security, so that people can feel safe, cheerful, meaningful homecoming," he said in Magelang, Central Java, Thursday, April 4, which was confiscated by Antara.

He conveyed that the closure of the post was also part of the Ketupat Candi Operation 2024 for 13 days starting April 4-16, 2024 in the context of securing homecoming and Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri.

"This activity is a tangible manifestation of the synergy between the TNI, Polri, Magelang City Government and related stakeholders in order to secure homecoming and celebrate Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri," he said.
