JAKARTA - Indonesian Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto continued his visit to Malaysia after visiting China on Sunday and Japan last Wednesday to meet with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim in Kuala Lumpur, Thursday, April 4, 2024.

Head of the Public Relations Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense Brigadier General TNI Edwin Adrian Sumantha in his official broadcast in Jakarta, Thursday, said that Prabowo and his entourage arrived at Subang Air Base, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia on Wednesday night.

On the apron of the air base, Prabowo's arrival was greeted by Malaysian Defense Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin and the Indonesian Defense Attache in Kuala Lumpur, Brigadier General Winarno.

In Malaysia, Prabowo was accompanied by several officials from the TNI and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense as well as the Indonesian House of Representatives, including Deputy Chairman of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives Sugiono, Head of the TNI Strategic Intelligence Agency (BAIS) Lt. Gen. Yudi Abrimantyo, and Head of the Defense Facilities Agency of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, Young Marshal TNI Yusuf Jauhari.

Prabowo started his series of trips to three countries, namely China, Japan, and Malaysia to meet not only fellow defense ministers, but also heads of state and heads of government of each country.

In China, Prabowo meets Chinese President Xi Jinping, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang, and Chinese Defense Minister Admiral Dong Jun. The meeting with the three top Chinese officials took place in Beijing.

Then in Japan, Prabowo met with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Defense Minister Minuru Kihara.

Prabowo met PM Kishida and Defense Minister Kihara respectively at the Japanese Prime Minister's Office and the Japanese Ministry of Defense Office, both in Tokyo.
