Gusti Bhre Becomes An Alternative PSI Choice For The Solo Pilkada

SOLO - The Ruler of Pura Mangkunegaran KGPAA Mangkunegara X or Gusti Bhre is an alternative choice for the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) for the 2024 Surakarta Mayor Election.

"We, from PSI, have not yet fixed one of the candidates, but we are still coordinating with other friends, friends from KIM (Indonesian Forward Coalition)," said Acting (Plt) Chairman of the Surakarta PSI DPD Sonny in Solo, Central Java as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 3.

Although he has not yet determined a name, he said, there are several alternatives that have emerged, one of which is Gusti Bhre.

"But we are waiting for directions from the DPP as well and the direction from the downstream sees the progress of how we will continue to determine according to our aspirations," he said.

Regarding the consideration of choosing Gusti Bhre, according to him, because he is a visionary young figure.

"We also want people who continue with the program, Mas Gibran, including those who have an entrepreneurial spirit. There are many programs for Mas Gibran, if not implemented, it will be Eman-eman," he said.

Therefore, according to him, there must be people who can have creative ideas to develop the city of Solo.

"How can we add PAD, because yesterday's PAD was still less than Rp. 150 billion," he said.

He hopes that future leaders can bring the city of Solo to a better direction.

"Because Mas Gibran has built this foundation so that it can add PAD in the future. Do not let the elected person have no creative ideas so that it erodes the APBD," he said.

Asked about the direction from PSI General Chair Kaesang Pangarep, he said, there had been no specific directives.

"Because yesterday we were still focused on the Constitutional Court. Maybe after Eid, we began to intensely meet with Mas Kaesang for communication, including the mayor. Later the final decision will be at Mas Kaesang," he said.
