Lantamal Summons Witness In The Murder Case Of Former NCO Casis

PADANG - Main Base of the Indonesian Navy II (Lantamal II) Padang has scheduled summons of a number of witnesses related to the premeditated murder case against Iwan Sutrisman Telaumbanua with suspects Serda Adan Aryan Marsal and Muhammad Alfin Andrian.

"What we are currently doing is making a summons to the witness who owns a shop that sells several pieces of evidence," said Padang Lantamal II Danpom Lieutenant Colonel (PM) Yasir Fadly Dayan in Padang as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 2.

Lt. Col. Yasir explained, before committing the murder, Second Sergeant Adan first bought a tool that was allegedly used to kill Iwan Sutrisman Telaumbanua in Talawi District, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra.

After that, Lantamal II Padang will also ask the family for information regarding the case that ensnared the suspect.

This includes coordinating with the Sawahlunto Resort Police (Polres).

"We will continue to coordinate with the police because this is connectivity and continue to share information," he said.

Meanwhile, Commander of Lantamal (Danlantamal) II Padang, First Admiral of the TNI, Syufenri, emphasized that the mechanism for accepting prospective TNI soldiers, especially in the Navy, was not charged at all.

This was confirmed by Danlantamal II Padang in connection with the alleged premeditated murder case committed by Serda Adan, which allegedly began with the lure of the perpetrators to pass the victim into the Indonesian Navy.

"The Navy in recruiting soldiers is free of charge, free of charge and that is firm," he asserted.

Finally, First Admiral TNI Syufenri emphasized that Serda Adan Aryan Marsal was threatened with the death penalty or life imprisonment after killing a civilian at the end of December 2022 in Sawahlunto City.

"Serda Adan Aryan Marsal has violated Articles 378, 338,339 and 340 of the Criminal Code Junto Article 55 of the Criminal Code with the threat of death penalty or life imprisonment, or 20 years in prison," said Danlantamal.
