JAKARTA - The Indonesian government through the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) estimates that the delivery of all humanitarian social assistance to civilians who are victims of the Palestinian and Sudanese conflicts will arrive in Cairo, Egypt and the Port of Sudan in the next three days, Thursday, April 4.
Head of BNPB, Suharyanto said that on Monday night (1/4) or Tuesday morning (2/4) Indonesia would send the Aju Team to Cairo, Egypt led by Brigadier General Pol (Ret.) Ary Laksmana Widjaja and Port of Sudan led by Brigadier General Lukmansyah.
The departure of the Aju Team is tasked with coordinating with the authorities in Sudan and Egypt with the assistance of the Indonesian Embassy in Khartoum and the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo in the context of the readiness of the Indonesian delegation who will bring humanitarian assistance to Sudanese and Palestinians through the Egyptian Government.
Furthermore, on Wednesday, April 3, Indonesia will send two humanitarian aid delegates to Sudan and Egypt, which are planned to be released by President Joko Widodo from Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Jakarta.
