7 Experts Brought By Anies-Muhaimin Team At The Constitutional Court Session Today, One Of Them Faisal Basri

JAKARTA - The Constitutional Court will continue the trial for the 2024 presidential election dispute today. The trial which began at 08.00 WIB presented the applicant for the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar team.

The agenda for the dispute over the results of today's general election (PHPU) is proof of the applicant by listening to the testimony of the applicant's experts and witnesses, as well as the ratification of additional evidence of the applicant.

There were 7 experts presented by the candidate pair team number 1. In addition, there were 11 witnesses who were brought in applicant I at today's trial.

"The trial with the agenda of the trial examination was to hear the testimony of witnesses and experts from Petitioner I. Based on the records submitted by the clerk, applicant I submitted 7 experts and 11 witnesses," said Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Suhartoyo in the courtroom, Monday, April 1.

The academics presented by the Anies-Muhaimin team have various backgrounds in the field of science, ranging from the economy, government, to regional autonomy.

3. Ridwan, an administrative law expert

4. Vid Adrison, UI economist

5. Yudi Prayudi, Head of the Center for Digital Forensic Studies (PUSFID) UII Yogyakarta

6. Anthony Budiawan, Managing Director of Political Economy and Policy Studies (PEPS)

7. Djohermansyah Djohan, a regional autonomous expert

For information, the presidential election dispute lawsuit filed by Anies and Muhaimin as applicants has case number 2/PHPU.PRES-XXII/2024. In essence, the applicant revealed 11 betrayals of the constitution and violations of the free, honest and fair principles in the 2024 presidential election.

The 11 points mentioned, namely that the KPU deliberately accepted the candidacy for candidate pair 02 illegally and violated the law, the paralysis of the independence of the election organizers due to power intervention, candidate pair 02 nepotism using the presidential institution, the appointment of a massive regional head and used to direct options, the pj regional head mobilized the structure below.

Then, the involvement of state officials to win candidate pair 02, the deployment of village heads, President Jokowi's invitation to the general chairman of coalition political parties at the Presidential Palace, intervention to the Constitutional Court, politicization of social assistance by Jokowi, as well as an increase in salaries and Bawaslu allowances during the election critical period.

In the lawsuit, the applicant wants a re-vote by disqualifying Gibran Rakabuming Raka from the vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto.

Meanwhile, candidate pair number 3 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD in his petitum asked the Constitutional Court to instruct the KPU to re-vote by disqualifying Prabowo-Gibran.
