Today, Former Head Of Customs Andhi Pramono Will Undergo A Verdict Session

JAKARTA - The former Head of Makassar Customs and Excise, Andhi Pramono, will undergo a trial to read the verdict of the alleged corruption case in the form of receiving gratuities at the Corruption Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, today, Monday, April 1.

Based on the Case Tracking Information System (SIPP), the trial will be held in the Wirjono Projodikoro 1 courtroom at around 10.00 WIB.

"(The trial schedule) is for the verdict," SIPP was quoted as saying by VOI, Monday, April 1.

Ahead of the reading of the verdict, Andhi Pramono by his attorney, Eddhi Sutarto, was said to be very nervous. This is considered like someone else involved in a corruption case.

"As an ordinary human being, stay nervous, the memorandum of defense that has been conveyed makes him more peaceful," said Eddhi.

In addition, it is hoped that the panel of judges will decide the demands of the public prosecutor will still be proven. However, it is only limited to civil.

"AP hopes that the prosecutor's indictment will still be proven but is a civil domain," said Eddhi.

Andhi Pramono was sentenced to 10 years in prison. The demand was because Andhi Pramono was declared to have carried out gratification starting from showing off his wealth or flexing.

"Therefore, the defendant Andhi Pramono was sentenced to 10 years and 3 months in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion with the condition that if the fine was not paid, it was replaced with imprisonment for 6 months," said the prosecutor in the Corruption Court courtroom at the Central Jakarta District Court, Friday, March 8, 2024.

Meanwhile, Andhi Pramono received gratuities worth a total of IDR 58.9 billion from a number of parties related to the management of import customs. The funds are allegedly received through various accounts, both Andhi's personal accounts and others.

Andhi was charged with the gratification article, namely Article 12B of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with Article 65 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

Andhi's indictment stems from the KPK investigation into a viral video of Andhi Pramono on social media that seems to show off the wealth of a luxury house in the Cibubur area, East Jakarta, early 2023.
