A Luxury House In Sunter Fires, Six Fire Cars Deployed To Put Out The Fire

The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) deployed six fleets to extinguish a fire in a house on Jalan Sunter Indah Raya, Tanjung Priok District.

"We deployed 30 personnel to extinguish the fire which is thought to have originated from an electric'short circuit'," said Head of the Operations Section of the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Abdul Wahid in Jakarta, Sunday.

"The house is occupied by a family head with four people," he said, quoted by Antara.

According to him, the owner of the house saw smoke appearing in the house. After seeing the fire, the victim tried to extinguish the fire and contacted the North Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. (Jakut) to ask for help extinguish the fire that was starting to grow.

The Gulkarmat Sub-dept. received information on the fire at 11.17 WIB and personnel arrived at the scene at 11.27 WIB.

"We do the blackout until 12.10 WIB and Alhamdulillah it can be handled properly," he said.

From this incident there were no casualties, but an estimated loss of around Rp. 100 million.

"This 10x10 square meter house is occupied by a family head with four souls," he said.
