Prabowo Is Considered To Want To Create An Executive Heavy

JAKARTA BRIN's main political researcher, Siti Zuhro, believes that the President-elect of the 2024 presidential election, Prabowo Subianto, wants to create a model for the executive heavy government by approaching political parties outside the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM).

According to him, this step is not surprising considering that the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party has intended to embrace other political parties outside KIM during the 2024 presidential election campaign.

"If they succeed in embracing other parties to support them, Pak Prabowo's political position can be very strong in the upcoming government," he said on Friday, March 29, 2024.

Wiwik, Siti Zuhro's nickname, assessed that Prabowo had done political communication with other parties. He suspects that after meeting with the Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, Prabowo will continue to communicate with the PDI-P.

You see, the position and political role of PDIP as the winning party for the 2024 General Election must of course be taken into account by Prabowo. By embracing the winning party, Prabowo will run the executive heavy model smoothly.

"Mr. Prabowo's position will be very strong. The executive heavy model will make all new presidential policies later supported by the DPR," he said.

He further emphasized that with this political model, Prabowo's policies will always run smoothly without any obstacles when tested in the legislative or DPR institutions.
