Anies-Cak Imin Accuses Of DPT Manipulation, KPU: Who Is Manipulative?

The General Election Commission (KPU) stated that the argument for the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) camp which states that the manipulation of the Permanent Voter List (DPT) is not based on factual data and even tends to be manipulative.

Presidential and vice presidential candidates number 1 previously mentioned the manipulation of DPT in several areas, one of which was 502,564.

"The petitioner's accusation of manipulation of the DPT which has also been reported to Bawaslu and has not yet received a claim decision that has not received a decision, Your Honor, is a maipulative accusation," said Head of the KPU Legal Team, Hifdzil Alim, in a follow-up trial of disputes or disputes over General Election Results (PHPU) at the Constitutional Court, Thursday, March 28.

In fact, the issue of alleged manipulation of the DPT has been resolved by the Central Java Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) by issuing a decision dated March 6, 2024.

Bawaslu then issued a correction decision on March 20, 2024. Its contents, declared the Central Java KPU not guilty.

"The Central Java KPU is not legally and convincingly proven to have violated the procedures or mechanisms at the election stage in accordance with the provisions of the legislation," he said.

On that basis, the KPU said that the argument for the Anies-Cak Imin camp was not based on factual data. In fact, it is questionable who is vaccinating.

"This shows that the petitioner's argument is not based on factual data and tends to be manipulative. If so, who is actually the applicant's manipulative or the respondent?" said Hifdzil.
