Jambi Kajati Examines Internship Mode TIP Files In Germany With Unja Student Victims, 3 People Become Reported

Jambi High Prosecutor's Office has received a Notice of Investigation Commencement (SPDP) from the Jambi Regional Police in the case of Trafficking in Persons (TPPO) with an internship mode in Germany which is being investigated by the Jambi Regional Police (Polda) with three people reported.

Head of the Information and Law Section (Kasi Penkum) of the Jambi Attorney General's Office, Lexy Fatharany, said that his party had received the SPDP for the TIP case in Germany from Polda investigators to the Jambi Attorney General's Office and the prosecutor's office immediately prepared five prosecutors to study and examine the case files.

After receiving the case file, the Jambi High Prosecutor's Office immediately handled and appointed the research prosecutor by the Attorney General's Office.

Lexy said that the SPDP did not mention the status of the suspect but was still the reported party, namely the initials ER, AR and SS. The three of them are from the service company and from a university in Jambi.

Furthermore, Acting Kajati Jambi Enen Saribanon has appointed five prosecutors to examine cases related to the ferryjob TIP case in Germany whose victims are dozens of Jambi University (Unja) students.

This case of trafficking in persons was revealed after several students from a state university in Jambi reported that in May 2023 there was an offer of an internship Ferianjob Program in Germany at the University Campus in Jambi which then all participants immediately filled out the registration form which was prepared through the link http://bit.ly/Ferianjaob-in-Germany-UPTPK-UNJA and paid 100 thousand rupiahs on the CV account.
