The police, he said, immediately moved and secured as many as 13 people to the Tasikmalaya City Police Headquarters to undergo further legal examinations related to their actions which were considered disturbing the comfort and security of the community.

"We have arrested 13 people related to the incident," he said.

All members of the mass organization underwent examination by the Tasikmalaya City Police Criminal Investigation Unit and then succeeded in naming five members of the mass organization as suspects in the case of violence.

Those named as suspects are the initials DM (41) residents of Cipaku, WS (45), AS (46), and AA (27) the three residents of Kawali, and YS (40) residents of Banjarsari, Ciamis Regency, while other members are still witnesses.

Jajang said the suspect in the case would be charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding persecution and had been detained at the Tasikmalaya City Police Detention Center for further legal examination.

"They are threatened with a maximum imprisonment of five years and six months, for jointly committing violence against people," he said.

The perpetrator was an individual from a mass organization from Ciamis Regency or a neighboring area with the City of Tasikmalaya whose action was caught on CCTV and was seen committing acts of violence against security guards and destruction of the office.

Conditions at the scene, he said, are now safe, community activities in Tasikmalaya City, including the office, have returned to normal.
