The Familiar Moment Of Ganjar-Mahfud And The Prabowo Defending Team Before The Constitutional Court Session

JAKARTA - A moment of familiarity was seen between the presidential and vice presidential candidates number 3, Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD and the ranks of the Prabowo-Gibran Defenders Team before the trial for the 2024 presidential election dispute.

This afternoon, it was Ganjar-Mahfud's turn as the applicant undergoing the 2024 presidential election dispute trial with a preliminary examination agenda.

While waiting for the trial to begin, the Head of the Ganjar-Mahfud Legal Team, Todung Mulya Lubis, approached the Chairman of the Prabowo-Gibran Defending Team, Yusril Ihza Mahendra, who was also waiting for the trial. The two of them shook hands with each other.

Before long, Ganjar and Mahfud approached Yusril along with the ranks of the Prabowo-Gibran Defenders Team, namely Otto Hasibuan and OC Kaligis. The Prabowo Defenders Team became related parties in this trial.

After shaking hands, Ganjar-Mahfud and Yusril and their members took the time to joke. There was no tension between them before the trial took place.

The inaugural trial of the 2024 presidential election dispute was held in two sessions on Thursday, March 27. The trial which presented applicant Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar was held at 08.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the trial for the applicant Ganjar-Mahfud was held at 13.00 WIB. The agenda for the inaugural trial is that the applicant conveys the main points of his petition in the trial.

In this trial, the panel of judges presented the KPU as the respondent, Bawaslu, and the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka candidate team as related parties.
