JAKARTA - The Bengkulu City Government (Pemkot) allows State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in its area to use official vehicles during the celebration of Eid 2024 or Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri in accordance with conditions, situations, and functions. "For the use of official vehicles in the context of approaching Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriah, the city government specifically does not provide a ban but rather an appeal. This means that in the use of official vehicles, of course, if for example, it is used by ASN in order to participate in celebrating Eid al-Fitr, so that it is used properly, wisely, and carefully," said the Head of the Bengkulu City Communication, Informatics and Communications Service (Kominfosan), Gitagama Raniputera in Bengkulu, Wednesday, March 27, quoted by Antara.

When using state-owned vehicles, he said, it is recommended to be more critical so that they can sort out when and when it is appropriate to use official vehicles to support individual mobility. "We do not prohibit, but ethically, maybe ASN friends who hold the mandate to use official vehicles can think the most fitting according to the situation and conditions in Bengkulu City", said Gitagi.

Oleh karena itu, kata dia, jika ASN menyalahgunakan penggunaan kendaraan dinas selama libur Idulfitri 1445 Hijriah maka ada sanksi yang akan diberikan, sesuai tingkat kesalahan yang dilakukan. "Jadi yang saya maksudkan dengan etika, jika seandainya hanya silaturahim di lingkungan Kota Bengkulu atau mengajak anak yatim untuk berwisata karena kendaraan terbatas, maka diperbolehkan menggunakan mobil dinas," ucapnya.
