Strengthening The Position Of KPU, The Prabowo-Gibran Legal Team Will Attend The Initial Session Of The Presidential Election Dispute At The Constitutional Court

JAKARTA - The Legal Team of Paslon 02 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka was confirmed to be present at the inaugural hearing of the 2024 presidential election results dispute (PHPU) at the Constitutional Court (MK) which was held today.

As related parties, the presence of the Prabowo-Gibran legal team at the Constitutional Court to strengthen the KPU's decision regarding the results of the national recapitulation that won candidate pair number 2.

"What was sued in the Constitutional Court (today) trial on the 27th was the KPU's decision regarding the results of the votes in the Constitutional Court. As related parties, we from the pair 02 have prepared a legal team under the leadership of Mr. Yusril Ihza Mahendra to strengthen the position of the KPU," said Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani, Tuesday, March 26.

The strengthening, continued Muzani, is to maintain views related to the KPU's decision to accept the registration of the Prabowo-Gibran pair. Second, strengthen the KPU's decision to announce the results of the 2024 presidential election on Wednesday, March 20.

"This is what we will strengthen with rational arguments, with accurate facts and data. So what they (cubes 01 and 03, ed) guess, is something wrong. Something that doesn't make sense and doesn't make sense," explained Muzani.

The Deputy Chairperson of the TKN emphasized that Prabowo or Gibran would not be present at the 2024 presidential election dispute hearing at the Constitutional Court later. This is because it has been represented by a legal team led by Yusril Ihza Mahendra along with several well-known lawyers such as Otto Hasibuan, OC Kaligis and Hotman Paris Hutapea.

"Those present were Prabowo-Gibran's legal team," he said.
