Jokowi Proud Of The Attacks And Victory Of The Indonesian National Team

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) expressed his pride for the attack built by the Indonesian national team to beat the Vietnam national team 3-0 in the continuation of the 2026 World Cup qualifying match in the Asia zone for the second round of Group F, Tuesday night.

In the match which took place at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi, the Indonesian national team opened the 1-0 advantage when the game had only been running for nine minutes through Jay Idzes' header.

The goal started with a corner that was executed by Thom Haye leading to Jay Idzes who escaped the control of the home team.

The Indonesian national team increased their advantage in the 24th minute through Ragnar Oratmangoen's individual appearance to the penalty box.

A low left foot shot made Nguyen Filip again pick up the ball from the net.

In the second half, it was Ramadan Sananta's turn to increase Indonesia's advantage in injury time after taking advantage of the chaos that started with Edo Febriansah's hard kick outside the penalty box.

In the post, the President appears to be holding a viewing together (nobar) in one of the rooms using a projector screen on the sidelines of his working visit to Central Sulawesi (Sulteng).

A number of Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet (KIM) were also accompanying President Jokowi to watch the match, including Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin and Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono.
