Suicide Bomb In Pakistan Kills 5 Chinese Engineers And 1 Driver

JAKARTA - China is pushing for an investigation into its citizens who work as engineers killed in a suicide bomb explosion in Pakistan.

The terror was carried out by someone using an explosive car by crashing into a convoy of Chinese engineer vehicles en route from Islamabad to Dasu in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province on Tuesday, March 26.

Citing Indiaexpress, Tuesday, March 26, the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Pakistan demanded that Pakistan conduct a thorough investigation into the attack and severely punish the perpetrators.

They also asked for effective action to protect the safety of Chinese citizens in Pakistan.

Police said the death toll consisted of five Chinese nationals and their driver from Pakistan.

Police said the terror was the third major attack in South Asian countries to kill Chinese nationals in the past week.
