BANJARMASIN - Banjarmasin Police, South Kalimantan (Kalsel) confiscated 13,697 cross-provincial ecstasy drugs with the initials AM (34) with a value of Rp4.48 billion.

He said the perpetrators of AM who live in South Kalimantan were arrested in South Banjarmasin, on Monday (18/3).

Meanwhile, three other perpetrators from West Kalimantan, namely DS (30), APSS (30), and MDS (35), were arrested in South Banjarmasin, on Thursday (21/3).

"The perpetrators of AM were directed by the dealer's wife (Mama Gina) to keep this narcotics, they never met, only communicated via cell phone. Currently, we are tracing the traces of the dealer from where he came from," he said.

The perpetrators of AM and three of his colleagues admitted that they did not know the whereabouts of the dealer who provided the narcotics which had a nominal value of billions of rupiah.

In addition, the results of the investigation revealed that there had been transactions in the form of payment of initial money worth Rp. 2 billion before the narcotics were sent to West Kalimantan.
