The PDI-P (PDIP) filed a dispute over the election results (PHPU) with the Constitutional Court (MK) for the 2024 Legislative Election.

Member of the PDIP Legal Aid and Advocacy Agency (BBHA) Erna Ratnaningsih said there were 13 lawsuits for 13 provinces submitted to the Constitutional Court.

"Overall, there are 13 we apply for PHPU. For the DPR RI, yes, West Java and South Kalimantan. The other 11 are provincial DPRDs," Erna said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 25.

The 13 provinces are West Java, South Kalimantan, West Sumatra, Jambi, South Sumatra, Riau, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Papua, Central Papua, and South Papua.

Erna said that actually the number of frauds experienced by PDIP in the legislative election was much more than reported to the Constitutional Court.

However, PDIP has difficulty getting evidence in the form of the C1 Plano form and intimidation of witnesses so that some are reluctant to testify at the Constitutional Court.

"So when we submitted this submission, in our opinion, we were the strongest and also evidence and this witness was willing to testify," he said.

"So actually if we want to see the frauds that occur beyond this. Only those that were systematic, the pressures then we did not get written evidence," he continued.

In addition, Erna believes that with the evidence and witnesses currently owned, the Constitutional Justice will grant the lawsuit so that it will increase the number of PDIP votes.

"So we are sure that we will increase the number of votes by submitting a PHPU application to the Constitutional Court," said Erna.

Meanwhile, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto emphasized that his party attached strong evidence that could reveal fraud in the 2024 Legislative Election.

"So for the legislative election lawsuit that we are holding is accompanied by strong evidence," said Hasto.

Then for the 2024 presidential election lawsuit, PDIP actually has many witnesses to appear before the Constitutional Court judges. However, the Constitutional Court decided to limit the number of witnesses because the resolution of the presidential election dispute was limited to a maximum of 14 days.

"But for the witness in the presidential election in the lawsuit at the Constitutional Court, the witness has a surplus, only the Constitutional Court limits it because of the 14-day dispute resolution time," he said.
