Achieve 39,075 Votes, PKS Wins In The 2024 Sukabumi Legislative Election

SUKABUMI - The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) won the most votes in the election for legislative members (Pileg) of the Sukabumi City DPRD according to the results of the recapitulation of votes in the 2024 general election (election) at the Sukabumi City level, West Java.

"The determination of the results of the Sukabumi City DPRD legislative election is in accordance with the Decree of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Sukabumi City Number 208 of 2024 concerning the determination of the election results for members of the Sukabumi City DPRD in 2024," said Sukabumi City KPU Chairman Imam Sutrisno as quoted by ANTARA, Friday 22 March.

As for the recapitulation of the vote count for the Sukabumi City DPRD, PKS received 39,075 votes with details of the electoral districts (dapil) I of Cikole and Citamiang sub-districts as many as 13,971 votes.

Then the District II Districts of Baros, Cibeureum and Lembursitu as many as 16,418 votes and electoral districts III Warudoyong and Gunungpuyuh sub-districts received 8,686 votes.

Furthermore, the PDI-P became the second most votes winner with a total of 24,589 votes from the three electoral districts, with details of the first electoral district as many as 7,378 votes, electoral district II 8,914 votes and electoral district III 8,297 votes.

The third position is occupied by the Golkar Party with a total of 24,282 votes, with details of the electoral district I 9,718 votes, electoral district II 8,428 votes and electoral district III as many as 6,136.

While the fourth position is in the Democratic Party with a total of 21,487 votes, in fifth position is occupied by the Gerindra Party with 20,472 votes, the sixth position is occupied by the Nasdem Party with 17,458 votes.

The seventh position is the National Mandate Party (PAN) with 16,378 votes. Followed by the United Development Party (PPP) 13,176 votes, and the National Awakening Party (PKB) 12,562 votes and in 10 positions of the Hanura Party 4,338 votes.

Meanwhile, for political beaches that get the lowest or least votes, namely the Indonesian Revised Guard Party which only gets 47 votes, they only come from the electoral district III, for the electoral districts I and II this party do not get a vote at all. Then for the total number of valid votes entered as many as 202,845 votes from the number of permanent voters (DPT) as many as 258,028 people.

The number of seats in the Sukabumi City DPRD is 35 seats, with details of each quota, there are 12 electoral districts I and II, while 11 seats in electoral districts. If you look at the results of the recapitulation of votes, the candidates from PKS have the opportunity to become the chairman of the Sukabumi City DPRD, while the Deputy Chairperson of the Sukabumi City DPRD will be filled by candidates from the PDI-P and the Golkar Party.
