The Tanjungbalai District Attorney (Kejari) has named a suspect with the initials EMS for alleged corruption in road improvement work with the construction of the northern ring road segment STA-9+830-STA 10+330 with a budget of Rp2,261,761,000 at the PUPR Office of Tanjungbalai City, North Sumatra.
"The suspect is a CV.PRL representative who is the provider or implementer of the activity," said Head of the Intelligence Section of the Tanjungbalai Kejari Andi Shahputra as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 21.
He continued that the suspect had signed a contract and also applied for disbursement for road improvement activities with the construction of the north ring road hotmix STA-9+830-STA 10+330 with a budget of IDR 2,261,761,000 for the 2018 budget.
"In the implementation, it turned out that there was a volume shortage related to the occurrence of state losses and investigators had obtained two pieces of evidence by EMS," said Andi.
Based on the calculation carried out by the BPKP, representatives of North Sumatra have received state financial losses based on Rp318,120,753.89.
