KPK Checks Head Of Planning And Budget Bureau Of The Secretary General Of The Ministry Of Home Affairs Related To Corruption In The IPDN South Sulawesi Campus

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned and will examine the Head of Planning and Budget Bureau, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) Lukman Nul Hakim.

He was examined as a witness in the alleged corruption case of the IPDN campus construction project in Gowa, South Sulawesi.

"Examined as a witness for the suspect DJ (Dudi Jocom)", said KPK spokesman for prosecution Ali Fikri, Wednesday, March 3.

The anti-corruption commission again named the former Head of the Data Center and Information System of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Dudy Jocom, as a suspect in the alleged corruption case for the construction of two campus buildings at the Institute of Domestic Administration (IPDN).

He holds the status of a suspect in the alleged corruption case of the IPDN campus in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, and the IPDN campus in Minahasa, North Sulawesi for 2011 budget year.

Not only Dudy, but the KPK also charged the Head of the Building Division or Head of Division I of PT Waskita Karya Adi Wibowo and Head of Construction Division VI of PT Adhi Karya Dono Purwoko as suspects.

This case started in 2010. Through his acquaintance, Dudy allegedly contacted several contractors and said there would be an IPDN project.

Furthermore, before the auction was held, it was agreed to share the project, namely the IPDN project in South Sulawesi which was carried out by Waskita Karya while PT Adhi Karya worked on the IPDN project in North Sulawesi. During this distribution, Dudy and his friends asked for a 7 percent fee.

As a result, of the two projects, the country suffered a loss of IDR 21 billion.

Previously, the KPK had charged Dudy Jocom with allegations of corruption in two other IPDN campus construction projects, namely in Agam West Sumatra and IPDN Phase II campus in Rokan Hilir, Riau Province.
