Anies: Whatever Fate Is Determined Later, We Will Continue To Join The Movement For Change

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Anies Baswedan ensured that the legal team of the AMIN national team filed a lawsuit against the results of the 2024 presidential election to the Constitutional Court (MK). Anies emphasized that the movement of changes will continue to roll forward.

"Whatever destiny has been determined by later, we will continue to accompany the movement of change. God willing, this movement will continue to roll bigger in the future, and bring good and necessary changes to this nation," Anies said in a written statement, Wednesday, March 20.

Anies reminded all parties to maintain peace and unity after the announcement of the results of the 2024 presidential election by the KPU to the process at the Constitutional Court.

"Let's continue to run this struggle by upholding ethics, maintaining peace and unity. We support the steps of the legal team, and let all the findings presented later become a historical record that is officially recorded in the minutes of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia," said Anies.

Anies emphasized that in the principles of modern democracies, non-normalities and irregularities are "straightened" in accordance with applicable regulations.

Although he realizes that there are parties who are trying to degrade the constitutional business of the AMIN national team, these various irregularities according to Anies cannot be tolerated.

"The steps we are taking are not getting angry and making initiatives to the public, but our step is to gather all the evidence to be brought to the future by judges. We want this country to continue to build political maturity, not back down near the pre-reform period," he explained.
