Jokowi Titip Salam Ke Cak Imin Saat Bertemu 2 Menteri PKB Di Istana

JAKARTA - Candidate for vice president number 1 Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) admitted that he received greetings from President Joko Widodo when he met two ministers from PKB at the State Palace some time ago.

"I was only transferred (WhatsApp from two PKB ministers), there was a greeting (from Jokowi). That's all," said Cak Imin after breaking the fast together at Jusuf Kalla's residence, Jalan Brawijaya Raya, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 20.

Cak Imin said that the two ministers did not convey anything else ordered by Jokowi, especially regarding the dynamics of the 2024 General Election. The PKB chairman also could not reply directly to Jokowi's greeting because he did not have the opportunity to meet the head of state.

"Yes, I won't see you again," he replied.

Previously, the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Abdul Halim Iskandar together with the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah reported to President Joko Widodo about their vote acquisition in the 2024 election contestation.

Abdul Halim and Ida Fauziyah, both PKB cadres, had previously asked President Jokowi for permission to run as legislative candidates by not leaving their posts as ministers.

"We also report, express our gratitude to the President for giving permission to Mrs. Ida and me as PKB cadres for yesterday's 'lleg' and indeed we have written requested permission at that time," said Abdul Halim at the Presidential Palace Jakarta, Monday, March 18.

In his meeting with Jokowi, Ida Fauziyah, who successfully qualified as a member of the DPR from the DKI Jakarta II Electoral Area (Dapil) which includes Central Jakarta, South Jakarta and abroad.

According to Abdul Halim, the passing of Ida to Senayan to become a member of the legislature is an extraordinary achievement because the Jakarta II electoral district is referred to as a "hell electoral" considering that many big names are competing to win votes in the region.

In addition to the vote acquisition for both in the election, Abdul Halim and Ida also reported the acquisition of PKB votes which increased significantly nationally, thus increasing the proportion of the number of seats.

According to him, the PKB votes did not only come from Java, but also from DKI-I, DKI-II, NTB and Central Sulawesi.

"At the same time, we want to get directions for our development and dedication, including how the election formula is good for Indonesia in the future," he said.

Apart from being cadres, Abdul Halim and Ida Fauziyah also reported performance in their respective ministries, including the achievement of RPJMN towards the end of President Jokowi's administration and the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet.
