Finding Fake Doctors In Cikarang, Regency Government Increases Supervision Of Health Facilities In Bekasi

The Bekasi Regency Government (Pemkab) has tightened supervision of the legality of health facilities along with medical personnel after disclosing cases of finding fake doctors practices by the police some time ago.

"We will tighten supervision of medical personnel who do not have a license for illegal practices and clinics that do not have an operational permit," said Head of the Bekasi District Health Office Alamsyah in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, Wednesday, March 20, as reported by Antara.

He said, from the results of the disclosure of the practice of fake doctors who established an illegal clinic at Perum Taman Cikarang Indah II, Ciantra Village, South Cikarang District, it was confirmed that the perpetrators of fake doctors did not have a Registration Certificate (STR) and a license for practice.

"In addition, the perpetrators also work in clinics that are indeed illegal and do not have an operational permit," he said.

Alamsyah admitted that he had instructed the ranks to comb the entire area so that similar illegal incidents would not be found again in Bekasi Regency.

"Hopefully there will be no more like that. We will comb the entire area, although so far we have the person in charge of the area, namely the Puskesmas, to tighten supervision, assisted by the police," he said.

He also stated that the public has the right to know the legality of health facilities where they seek treatment. "The public also has the right to ask and find out the legality or authenticity of the permits of health workers who serve patients," he said.
